Nishikigawa Seiryu Line is a sightseeing train running 32.7 kilometers between Iwakuni Station and Nshikicho Station. It will be only one hour trip from the starting station to the last stop, but through the train windows you can feel the grandness of Iwakuni’s nature which you can never experience in the downtown Iwakuni. Also there are sections to watch spectacular sceneries along the line, and you can enjoy viewing them because the train slows down for the sections.
Furthermore, there are some sightseeing spots along the line, and around Negasa Station there is a huge wooden waterwheel with a diameter of 12 meters and Mikawa Mu Valley which is a theme park expedition in which you enjoy solving riddles.
In addition, around the last stop, Nishikicho Station, there are some sightseeing spots such as Nishikicho Machigurumi Museum, in which whole the town looks like a museum using its old shopping streets and temples that can make you feel the good old days of Japan, and Futani Hotaru which is a habitat for fireflies.
